Howdy, howdy, howdy!

Welcome to the United States of Am-air-ica. (Oh, and of course, Canada).

Yes, it's time to don the 10 Gallon hat, drive a car the size of a small country and become extremely xenophobic. Here we are on the Americas leg of our trip!

Our one regret (while we travel coast to coast across America) is that we will not be driving a Cadillac. Marvellous vehicles those caddies, 800 gallons per quarter mile travelled.

Instead we opted for a more fuel efficient mode of transport:

It's not all dirt roads and 'pick-up trucks'. If only we bought our 4WD with us. We didn't need to, we opt for the near equivalent, an SUV. We won't forget to enjoy other American favourites like eating a real hotdog, catch a baseball game, enjoy the poor coffee America has to offer, indulge in waffles and apple pie, travel along the Pony Express route and visit Ghost Towns.

In America we also plan to:
Have a shave in Gillette, Wyoming
Have a nightcap at Milo, PEI
Meet Me in St Louis, Louis
Smoke lots in Weed, California
Be a prick in Needles, California
Get scared at Casper, Wyoming
Get fried in Kentucky
Get breakfast in Kellogg, Idaho

Our visit to Canada will be mostly spent in relaxation on Prince Edward Island.

And there's nothing funny that we can think of about that.
